Sick at heart

Is it wrong that, on the night of the State of the Union, with Super Tuesday just a week away, my Raiders possibly on the verge of firing their coach, my not-quite-sister-in-law about to have a baby any second and my birthday less than three weeks away...

All I can really think about is my poor, sick dog, and whether he's going to be just fine or whether he's going to die?

Die??! What's wrong with Norton??!

He's been really sick for a few days, and on and off, and so the vet gave him a battery of tests and there was some iffy stuff and some not-iffy stuff.

He was better today, so hopefully everything will be OK. We get the results tomorrow and stuff.

But he seems better, so I think it was just sort of scary.

Poor lil' fella.

I don't think it's wrong that you're more worried about the dog than those other things. I would think it's *very* wrong if you worried more about the State of Union, Superduper Tuesday, and the Raiders more than Norton, in fact.

I'm sorry to hear Norton is sick, and I do hope he gets better.
